Charles Babbage


On December 26, 1791, at Southwark, London, was born a son of Benjamin Babbage (his father). The boy was named Charles Babbage, according to his father's name which ended with Babbage. It could be said that Charles was a lucky boy because he was born from a capable family, his father who worked as a Banker.
This child has very prominent advantages in the field of Mathematics. Proven when he entered Trinity College in Cambridge in 1811, he felt that he had the ability in the field of mathematics which he thought much better than his own tutor.
At the age of 20, Charles worked as a mathematician, especially in the field of kulkulus function. And in 1816 he was elected as a member of the "Royal Society" (independent scientific and academic organization of Great Britain). And he also played an active role in the "Astronomical Society" (Astronomy and Geophysics Association of Great Britain) in 1820.
CharlesBabbage is one of the pioneers or inventors of the first computer in the world. He is a scientist in the world as the inventor of the first computer that has long worked in his life, especially in the field of computers. He also invented the counting mesh (Difference Engine no.1) which belongs to the most famous icon in the history of the development of computers and was the first automatic counting machine.
Charles Babbage is famous for his nickname, Mr. Computer. He used The Charles Babbage Fundation to appreciate his contribution to the computer world. And from there he became interested in the computer world and calculations, which continued until the end of his life.
